Use this PHP application to send an SMS text message to any cell phone.  In order to test this application, you’ll need to type in the telephone number to page and the cell phone service provider. We’ve included a drop down box of some service providers for whom we know the SMS email address.  If your provider is not on the list, use the text field just below the drop down box to enter the SMS email address.

For example, to send an SMS message to the MetroPCS cell phone at 1-800-555-1212, the phone number would be 8005551212 and the SMS email address would be “mymetropcs.com”.

Then, after typing in your message, press the SEND button. In some cases there may be a delay as the message is routed through the Internet and then into the cell phone provider’s network.
